Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and CVOpteemizer. By creating an account, running a CV review, or paying for a CV pack or monthly plan, you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use the service.

We may update these terms as the product changes. When we make a change that affects you materially, we'll email account holders and update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use CVOpteemizer after that counts as accepting the new version.

You need to be at least 16 years old and able to enter a contract where you live. One person, one account — please don't share logins.

You're responsible for keeping your password private and for anything done through your account.

CVOpteemizer takes the CV you provide plus the job advert and country you choose, and returns:

• a scored review — overall, screening-software readiness, keyword match and country fit;
• a list of issues by severity, with recommendations and missing keywords;
• three rewritten versions of your CV once the review is unlocked;
• optional cover letters and interview preparation for unlocked reviews.

Reviews are produced by AI models. They are opinions and suggestions, not a guarantee, and you should read everything before you send it to an employer.

Your CV stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run your reviews, generate your CV versions, and email results to you.

You confirm the content you upload is yours to use and doesn't contain anyone else's confidential information. Please don't upload other people's CVs without their permission.

You own the rewritten CVs, cover letters and interview notes generated for you and can use them however you like, including commercially.

Because the same job advert can lead to similar suggestions for different people, we can't promise your output is unique.

• Your first review is free.
• Unlocking one review's three rewritten CVs costs ₦3,000 (≈ $1.9), charged once.
• Professional is ₦9,900 (≈ $6.4) a month and Recruiter & Coach is ₦24,900 (≈ $16) a month, both renewing automatically until you cancel.
• Dollar amounts shown anywhere on the site are approximate conversions for reference only; the amount charged is always the naira amount.

Payments are handled by Paystack in Nigerian naira. We never see or store your full card details. Prices may change, but a change never affects a payment you've already made, and we'll tell subscribers before their next renewal.

Monthly plans renew on the same day each month until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your settings page. Cancelling stops the next charge; your plan features stay available until the end of the period you've already paid for.

If a renewal payment fails, we'll keep your plan open briefly and try again. If it keeps failing, the plan moves back to pay-per-review.

• Upload content that is illegal, hateful, or someone else's private information.
• Use the service to create deliberately false employment history or credentials.
• Resell, scrape or automate access to the service without our written permission.
• Try to break, overload, or get around the limits and security of the service.

We aim to keep CVOpteemizer running all the time, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features. If we retire something you paid for and can't offer a fair replacement, contact billing@cvopteemizer.com and we'll sort out a refund for the unused part.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim. We aren't liable for lost jobs, lost income, or other indirect losses.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service, or is used for fraudulent payments. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why first.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes go to the courts of Nigeria. If you're a consumer elsewhere, this doesn't remove rights you have at home.
